Foot and Mouth Disease is one type of disease that is infectious and acute, and the transmission is very high in even-hoofed animals. The main agent causing FMD is the foot and mouth disease virus (VFMD). The purpose of the study was to determine the cases of foot and mouth disease (FMD) in Jember Regency, East Java. This research was conducted from July to August 2023 in Jember Regency, East Java. The method used in this research is quantitative using a survey approach and sample withdrawal by purposive sampling. The method used in this research is quantitative, using a survey approach and sampling by purposive sampling and primary data collection methods and secondary data. Parameters observed in this study included beef cattle breed, vaccine history, cows returning to estrus, length of recovery from FMD, cows experiencing pregnancy, cow age, cow body score, type of feed, and reproductive disorders in beef cows. The results of this study showed that the average of beef cattle type was 2%–63%, vaccination history was 17%–41%, length of recovery from FMD was 32%–35%, cows returned to estrus was 22%–49%, cows became pregnant again was 27%–83%, cattle age was 28%–74%, cattle body score was 2%–67%, and type of feed was 10%–90%. The most common reproductive disorders after FMD were ovarian hypofunction (45%) and endometritis (27%). The results of this study indicate that Foot and Mouth Disease only slows down the occurrence of reproductive status in beef cattle, including Calving Interval, Conception Rate, Service per Conception, Days Open, and Calving Rate. In addition, Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) has an impact on losses in terms of livestock health and the economy. The economic losses experienced are a decrease in labor and losses in terms of livestock health, which have an indirect effect on reducing milk production, infertility, abortion, and the death of livestock.
