Energy and minerals are important in the survival of human beings in modern times, the energy used to make it easier for people in the activity every day. Indonesia is rich country in natural resources mainly energy and minerals. South Sumatra alone has 42% of the potential energy and minerals from all over Indonesia, but human resources competent for the processing of energy is still very little because of lack of education facilities containers can meet these educational activities. Taking design locations in .Jakabaring based on spatial plan, the city of Palembang with allotment of educational buildings. College of Energy & Mineral Palembang present as a place of solution in the field of energy and minerals education that are able to fulfill the teaching activities, management and support to improve the quality of human resources in the energy and minerals education with sophisticated facilities to facilitate learning activities. With futuristic architecture approach that has four element, such as: technological innovation, dynamic facade, eco-friendly and eficient way applied to the facade and building systems. College of Energy & Mineral PalP.mb. •ng with futuristic approach is expected to be able to have education containers ' barns ' o vn energy and identity for the groundbreaking of South Su mat era as the granary of national !nergy
