Teak Fumiture Centre in Palembang is a building which has processing, training, and selling function in teak meubel speciality. Planning and designing of teak fumiture centre in Palembang has done using modem architecture Le Corbusier approach. The using of modem architecture based on the purpose to form a building contrasts between teak fumiture product and modem building that accentuate modem materials, such as concrete. Designing based is zonation of Processing is in Iower floor and selling is in upper floor meant to form a design result that interest in function and room experiance. Planning and designing process of teak fiimiture centre in Palembag are based on five point of new architecture theory. Theory which is initiated by Le Corbusier was applied to overall building that consist of main points, those are pilotis, roof garden, free plan, free fasade, and horizontal long Windows. In step with result aimed, that is room experiance, so each rooms have each purpose so the building is not only interest as a form, but also can be felt by visitor and administrator. Such as, Windows are designed functionally adjust to human eye level proportion. Planning and designing of this building are effort to provide a building to processing, training, and selling that has not available yet in Palembang.
