The village of Lubuk Seberuk in the Lempuing Jaya District is one of the villages in the Ogan Komering Ilir Regency that produces rainfed rice, with an approximate land area of rainfed rice fields covering about 5,000 hectares. The purpose of this research is (1) to analyze the knowledge of rainfed rice farmers in Lubuk Seberuk Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, (2) to analyze the income differences between farmers who do not utilize rice waste and those who utilize rice waste in rainfed rice fields in Lubuk Seberuk Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, (3) to analyze the contribution of rice waste income to the total income of farmers who utilize rice waste in rainfed rice fields in Lubuk Seberuk Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra.The sampling method used is proportional stratified random sampling, where data is collected through direct interviews with 45 farmers who do not utilize rice waste and 20 farmers who utilize rice waste. The data collection involves both primary and secondary data, and data processing uses the Likert scale to determine the level of farmers' knowledge and income formulas.The research reveals that the knowledge of farmers who do not utilize rice waste and farmers who utilize rice waste in rainfed rice fields in Lubuk Seberuk Village, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, South Sumatra, falls within the moderate and high criteria. On average, farmers who do not utilize rice waste earn revenue of IDR 32,060,000 and income of IDR 25,235,466 in one planting season, while farmers who utilize rice waste, particularly those practicing organic rice farming, earn revenue of IDR 44,050,000 and income of IDR 38,278,723. The income from rice waste contributes low, accounting for 3 percent of the total income of farmers who utilize rice waste. Keywords: rainfed rice, rice waste utilization, rice waste knowledge
