INDEKS REPELENSI TANAMAN PANDAN (Pandanus amaryllifolius) (Roxb) DALAM MENGGUNAKAN KERTAS SARING TERHADAP Sitophilus oryzae (Linnaeus) (COLEOPTERA: CURCULIONIDAE)
In Indonesia, the most popular food is rice. Unfortunately, pest called Sitophilus oryzae attacks rice stocks in warehouses. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of pandan leaf extract as a vegetable insecticide for S. oryzae control. This fieldwork was done from June to October 2023 at the Perum Bulog (Logistics Agency) Regional Division of South Sumatra. Five treatments and six replicates were used in this investigation. Based on the results of the study, the highest mortality was in fipronil 50 g/l and pandan leaf extract with 50% and 20% concentrations of 87 and 70. At a 5% concentration, the lowest death rate was of 59, in contrast. On the other hand, since the control group received no medication, Sitophilus oryzae did not die. The highest repellency index value was found in Fipronil 50 g/l and pandanus leaf extract with concentrations of 50% and 20% at 83 and 80 which were classified as strong. While the lowest repelence index is located in pandan leaf extract with a concentration of 5% at 73 which is classified as moderately strong. The control showed that it did not have repellency. The LC50 values for observations 1 and 14 were 3.134 and 69.246 respectively.
