PENGARUH PENERAPAN PJBL TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERFIKIR KRITIS DAN KREATIF PADA MATA KULIAH CAD PENDIDIKAN TEKNIK MESIN UNSRI
This study aims to examine the influence of Project-Based Learning (PjBL) on the critical and creative thinking skills of students in the CAD course of the Mechanical Engineering Education program at UNSRI, both partially and simultaneously. A descriptive quantitative approach was used, with a population of 212 students who had taken the CAD course. A sample of 147 students was selected using purposive sampling, specifically those currently enrolled in the CAD course. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed statistically. The research instruments were validated by experts and found to be reliable, with data distributed normally and homogeneously. The t-test results showed that PjBL had a significant effect on critical thinking skills (t = 3.306), creative thinking skills (t = 3.293), and simultaneously on both (t = 3.807). All t-values exceeded the t-table value of 1.655, with a significance level of 0.001, which is less than 0.05. Thus, PjBL positively influences the development of students' critical and creative thinking skills in CAD learning. Keywords: Critical Thinking, Creative Thinking, CAD, Project-Based Learning.
