Muara Enim Regency is one of the rice producing regions with a rice harvest area reaching 39,692.00 ha and production reaching 197,071 tons. Muara Enim District has a village which is one of the rice producing villages, namely Karang Raja Village. The majority of people in this village work in the agricultural sector and make rice farming their main livelihood, so that it becomes the main factor in increasing community income and welfare. Farmers' income has decreased significantly in line with the increase in the price of non-subsidized fertilizer since the beginning of 2022 and also the decrease in the price of grain, especially during the main harvest.The purpose of this research were to : (1) To describe the condition of rice farming in Karang Raja Village, Muara Enim District, Muara Enim Regency, (2) To calculate the household income of rice farmers in Karang Raja Village, Muara Enim District, Muara Enim Regency, (3) To analyze the level of rice farmers household welfare in Karang Raja Village, Muara Enim District, Muara Enim Regency. The location of this reaserch was in Karang Raja Village, Muara Enim District, Muara Enim Regency. The time of this reaserch was conducted from November 2023 to December 2023. The data collection method used a survey method with questionnaires and interviews with 35 rice farmers as samples. The result obtained from this study are as follows, namely (1) farming activities in Karang Raja village are generally carried our by farmers and their families, starting from land processing, seeding, planting, harvesting, and plant maintenance, namely initial fertilization 3 times and weed control. (2) The average household income of rise farmers in Karang Raja village was Rp26.702.664/month consisting of rice farming income of Rp70.910.964/ha/mt, income from non-rice farming of Rp1.565.771/month, and non-farming income of Rp1.499.905/month. (3) The average welfare level of farmer household in Karang Raja Village is relatively high. Where if KHL is compared with household income, it is found that 35 sample farmers are already prosperous and even though they only relying on rice farming income, all farmers can afford their daily needs and said to be prosperous.
