FARID AL PASYAH Performances Test Of Hand Tractor On The Differences In Plowing Depth, Form Of Plovehead, And Forward Speed To Travel Time (Supervised by R. MURSIDI). This study aims to test the performance of hand tractor are used in dry field soil processing with several supporting factors such as plowing depth, form of cutting edge, and forward speed to travel time. This research was carried out from July 2023 at the Practicum and Research Garden, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University and Mechanical Laboratory, Soil and Water Engineering, Agricultural Engineering Study Program, Sriwijaya University. The method used was a randomized factorial block design (FRBD) with three combinations, namely plowing depth (D) consisting of two level combinations of shape, namely horn cutting edge and flat cutting edge (B), and Forward Speed (V). The research parameters consist of main and supporting parameters. The main parameters are Travel Time and then The Supporting Parameters including Wheel Slip, Water Content, Bulk Density, Fuel consumption, Soil Turning Width, Soil Turning Percentage, and Change Plowing Depth. Variability analysis show that forward speed is significantly affected on travel time. In teratment V2 (4 km) the forward speed treatment resulted in the fastest average plowing travel time of 21.47 s, and treatment V1 (3,5 km/h) produced the longest average plowing travel time of 22,51 s. According to research, using horn-shaped cutting edge can reduce wheel slip and save fuel when compared to flat-shaped cutting edge. MURSIDI). Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan traktor tangan tipe capung di lahan kering dengan menggunakan beberapa faktor pendukung yaitu kedalaman, bentuk mata bajak, dan kecepatan tarik. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan juli 2023 hingga september 2023 di Laboratorium Mesin, Teknik Tanah dan Air Program Studi Teknik Pertanian, serta Kebun Praktikum dan Riset Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok Faktorial dengan memakai tiga perlakuan yaitu perbedaan kedalaman, bentuk mata bajak, dan kecepatan tarik. Sedangkan untuk faktor parameter yang digunakan ada dua yaitu parameter utama dan parameter pendukung. Parameter utama ialah waktu tempuh, sedangkan untuk parameter pendukung meliputi Slip Roda, Kadar Air, Bulk Density, Konsumsi Bahan Bakar, Lebar Pembalikan Tanah, Persentase Pembalikan, dan Perubahan Kedalaman Pembajakan. Analisa keragaman menunjukkan perlakuan kecepatan tarik berpengaruh nyata terhadap waktu tempuh. Perlakuan kecepatan tarik menghasilkan nilai rata-rata waktu tempuh pembajakan paling cepat adalah perlakuan V2 (4 km/jam) yaitu 21,47 detik dan nilai rata-rata waktu tempuh pembajakan terlama pada perlakuan V1 (3,5 km/jam) yaitu 22,51 detik. Penggunaan mata bajak yang berbentuk cula, berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat mempersingkat waktu tempuh pembajakan, mengurangi slip roda dan menghemat konsumsi bahan bakar jika dibandingkan dengan bentuk mata bajak rata.
