Rice farming is one of the livelihoods of the people of Palembang City in the agricultural sector, especially in Sungai Selincah Village, Kalidoni District. When the land is flooded, the community cannot carry out farming activities, so non-agricultural activities become an alternative second income, such as working as laborers, traders, fishermen and others. The objectives of this research are (1) to describe the cultivation process of shallow, medium and deep swamp rice in Sungai Selincah Village, Kalidoni Sub-district, Palembang. (2) Calculating production costs, revenues, income and BC ratio in shallow, medium and deep swamp rice farming in Sungai Selincah Village, Kalidoni Sub-district Palembang. (3) To analyze the contribution of shallow, medium and deep swamp rice farming income to the total income of farmer households in Sungai Selincah Village, Kalidoni Sub-district Palembang. The results showed that the difference in the cultivation process was that the planting and harvesting process was one month earlier in each land typology starting from shallow swamp then medium swamp then deep swamp. The income and the highest profit level of rice farming in shallow swamp was IDR 15,181,804/hectare/year with a B/C value of 2.9, followed by medium swamp at IDR 11,728,593/hectare/year with a B/C value of 2.1, then in deep swamp at IDR 6,538,793/hectare/year with a B/C value of 0.9. Based on the B/C analysis, the profit level of rice farming based on the typology of swamp land, in shallow and medium swamp, the income is quite large with a B/C value> 1, meaning that rice farming is feasible to run.
