This study aims to process the analysis of scientific attitudes and skills of students in the future more efficiently in learning plate work practices. so that the results of the products made are more useful and can be used properly. the results of the study state that the scientific attitudes that exist in plate work courses are relatively low in the section of developing ideas because during learning they do not understand the material during plate work courses, besides that the teaching materials provided are still minimal so that students find it difficult to develop ideas and readiness in the learning process, but student skills are relatively high because during practice students have determined the characteristics of the products they will make from making their own jobsheets and determining the size of the product sizes they will make themselves very creative to produce products that are made to be effective.
