Red ginger (Zingiber officinale var. Jahira 2) is a spice plant known for its health and culinary benefits. The increasing need for red ginger for its high content requires good and correct fertilization treatment. This research uses Siam weed leaf LOF which is a fertilizing material for red ginger plants. LOF (Liquid organic fertilizer) from Siam weed leaves can improve soil quality, and help improve soil structure, Increase soil capacity to hold water, and reduce erosion. This study aims to determine the effect of giving various concentrations of LOF from Siam weed leaves that are good for the growth of red ginger plants in the vegetative phase. This research uses a Randomized Block Design (RBD) research method consisting of five treatments of various concentrations of siam weed leaf LOF and one treatment without dosage as a control, to obtain six levels with four replicates, each replicate consisting of three plants, then obtained 72 plants. The treatments used in this study are: P0 = Control, P1= LOF siam weed 20%, P2= LOF siam weed 30%, P3 = LOF siam weed 40%, P4 = LOF siam weed 50%, P5 = LOF siam weed 60%. The data obtained were analyzed using the ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) test followed by the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test. This study showed that the giving of LOF siam weed leaves with a concentration of 20% solution (P1) various the highest percentage on all variables of red ginger growth, namely the height of the plant (81.13 cm), the number of leaves of the plant (9.00 strands), the length of the plant leaves (7.48 cm), the width of the plant leaves (2.08 cm), the diameter of the plant stem (14.29 mm), the number of tillers (2.25), the greenes level of the plant leaves (41.03), the wet weight of plant stems (145.30 g) and the dry weight of plant stems (81.37 g). Observed for three months after planting.
