The thesis entitled: Civil Liability of Land Deed Making Officials for Sale and Purchase Deeds Made Without the Owner's Knowing and There is Engineering by the Buyer (CASE STUDY Number. 3507 K / Pdt / 2023) written by M Alzohir Aji Rimansyah is in the background by One of the parties involved in land transactions is the Land Deed Making Official (PPAT), who is given the authority make authentic deeds regarding the transfer of land rights. However, in practice, there are cases that indicate abuse of authority, such as sales and purchase deeds made without the knowing of the legal owner of the land, as well as engineering in the transaction. So How are the legal consequences for sales and purchase deeds and the liability of land deed making officials and how to apply civil liability. This study examines the civil liability of PPAT in legally flawed sales and purchase deeds, by referring to the Supreme Court Cassation Decision Number 3507 K / Pdt / 2023. The results of the study showed that a deed of sale and purchase made without the consent of the land owner is null and void and has no binding legal force. PPATs involved in making such deeds can be subject to civil liability for losses incurred, as well as criminal and administrative liability. This study aims to analyze the legal consequences of legally flawed deeds of sale and purchase and the liability of PPATs in that cases.
