PENGARUH PIGMEN ANTOSIANIN DALAM MENINGKATKAN EFISIENSI PEMBANGKITAN ENERGI LISTRIK PADA SEL SURYA
Solar energy is one of the renewable energy sources that can be utilized through organic solar cells. This study aims to investigate the effect of solvent type in the extraction process of anthocyanin pigments from butterfly pea flowers on the efficiency of organic solar cells. The method involves preparing the dye layer by extracting anthocyanin pigments from the flowers and applying the extract onto the semiconductor layer. The results show that the organic solar cell prototype using ethanol as the solvent in the extraction process achieved the highest efficiency of 0,48%. The analysis indicates that anthocyanin pigments dissolve well in ethanol, enhancing pigment concentration and thus increasing solar cell efficiency. However, periodic electrolyte replacement is necessary to maintain voltage and current stability. This research supports the development of environmentally friendly organic solar cells based on natural materials.
