Vaginal discharge (flour albus) is one of the reproductive health problems that commonly occurs in adolescent girls. Lack of knowledge about vaginal discharge can cause adolescent girls to ignore signs of reproductive health disorders, to increase knowledge, health education is needed with interesting methods such as using Puzzleflais and Booklet media. This study aims to determine the effect of health education between Puzzleflais and Booklet media on adolescent girls' knowledge about vaginal discharge. This research method uses a quasi-experimental design with a two-group pretest-posttest without control group design approach. The population of this study were early adolescent girls, the research sample was 66 people who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria, consisting of 33 people as the Puzzleflais media group, 33 people as the Booklet media group. The data collection method was carried out by providing a vaginal discharge knowledge questionnaire through the pretest, intervention and posttest stages. Data analysis using the paired t-test statistical test showed a significant difference in the knowledge of adolescent girls before and after being given health education using Puzzleflais media (p=0.000) and Booklet media (p=0.000). The results of the independent sample t-test in both groups showed (p=0.405) which means there is no significant difference between Puzzleflais media and Booklet media in influencing the knowledge of young women about vaginal discharge. Puzzleflais media can influence knowledge because of more active interaction and discussion, while Booklet media can influence knowledge because of the explanation of the Booklet and provide respondents with the freedom to read the material independently. Health education using Puzzleflais or Booklet can increase the knowledge of young women about vaginal discharge.
