PERAN MATTERING TERHADAP WORK ENGAGEMENT PADA KARYAWAN YANG BEKERJA SECARA REMOTE
This study aims to determine the role of mattering on work engagement of remote employees. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a role of mattering on work engagement. The population in this study were employees who work remotely where the research sample consisted of 175 employees who work remotely and 50 employees who work remotely for try out. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used was the work engagement scale which refers to the work engagement dimensions of Schaufeli, Martinez, Pinto, Salanova, and Bakker (2002) and the mattering scale which refers to the mattering dimensions of Elliott, Kao, and Grant (2004). Data analysis in this study was carried out using a simple linear regression technique. The results of the analysis showed a significance value of 0,000 (p < 0,05) with an R square value of 0,321 and F of 81,798. This shows that mattering has a significant role in work engagement. Therefore, the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted.
