EFISIENSI TEKNIS INDUSTRI PEMINTALAN, PERTENUNAN DAN PENYEMPURNAAN TEKSTIL DI INDONESIA (KBLI 131)
The textile industry is one of the strategic sectors in the national economy. This study aims to analyze the level of technical efficiency of the textile spinning, weaving, and finishing industry in Indonesia (KBLI 131) using the Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) approach in assessing the influence of production inputs including the number of workers, the value of raw materials, and the value of capital on industrial output during the period 2011 to 2022. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). The results of the analysis show that the three production inputs have a positive and significant effect on output. The average technical efficiency of the textile industry during the study period was recorded at 0.593, which indicates that the industry is not yet fully efficient in utilizing available inputs. These findings underline the need for optimizing resource use and improving production systems to increase the competitiveness of the national textile industry.
