PENGELOLAAN SURAT-MENYURAT PADA BAGIAN PROTOKOL DAN KOMUNIKASI PIMPINAN DI SEKRETARIAT DAERAH KABUPATEN MUSI BANYUASIN
Letters as a means of communication that mostly still use paper media, make it must be managed properly. This is because mail management is important in launching business and government activities. Correspondence management includes incoming and outgoing mail procedures. This final report focuses on the procedures for incoming letters, letter dispositions, and outgoing letters in the Protocol and Communication Section of the Leadership at the Regional Secretariat of Musi Banyuasin Regency. The purpose of observation is to find out the procedures for managing letters in the Protocol and Communication Section of the Leadership, as well as the obstacles and solutions. The results of the observation explained that the management of correspondence in the Protocol and Communication Section of the Leadership uses manual and electronic methods or information technology, namely by using the SRIKANDI V3 website. In the management of correspondence, the Protocol and Communication Section of the Leadership is almost maximum, both manual and electronic which have their own constraints. For effectiveness in managing correspondence, it is better to conduct an evaluation to find the right solution.
