A notary is a public official who is given a mandate by the State to have the task, obligation and authority to help the general public provide legal services in the civil sector. Along with the rapid advancement of technology, the notary profession is required to be able to utilize it in providing services using information technology or better known as cyber notary. The concept of cyber notary is in the form of electronic application through computerization and the internet as the main media. The authority of a notary related to Cyber Notary is contained in the explanation of Article 15 paragraph (3) of Law Number 2 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 30 of 2004 concerning the Position of Notary. Therefore, the notary applies the use of digitalization of electronic signatures. This study aims to discuss about the regulations to the application of electronic signatures and regulations related to electronic signatures in the future. This study uses a normative legal research method, which means scientific research to find the truth based on scientific logic that is studied from or normative. The results of this study showed that the regulation of electronic signatures has not been regulated in detail in the UUJN, so that the implementation of the creation of deeds based on electronic signatures is not yet possible because the party deed requires the parties to be physically present before the Notary and sign directly at that time before the Notary. However, along with the development of the era and current technological advances, it is now possible to carry out electronic signing because this will provide convenience for parties dealing with the Notary if a situation occurs that is not possible. So that the UUJN and UUITE must be revised again for the future, so that parties can make electronic signatures and do not need to face the Notary or authorized officials
