ANALISIS PENGARUH PERBANDINGAN POLUTAN DEBU SEMEN DAN SERBUK GERGAJI KAYU TERHADAP EFISIENSI PANEL SURYA POLIKRISTALIN 10 WP
Photovoltaic systems are devices that function to convert solar radiation energy into electrical energy. The efficiency of energy conversion in solar panels is greatly influenced by environmental conditions, one of which is the presence of contaminant particles such as dust and pollutants that stick to the surface of the panel. Experimental research was conducted by sprinkling 4 grams of cement dust and sawdust on the surface of a 10 Wp polycrystalline solar panel. Based on the measurement results, the average efficiency of panels exposed to sawdust was lower than that of panels exposed to cement dust. Solar panels with sawdust produced the highest efficiency of 3.19%, while solar panels with cement dust produced the highest efficiency of 5.57%. This difference is due to the lower density of sawdust, so that at the same mass, the powder covers a wider and more even surface area of the panel. As a result, the absorption of light by the solar panels becomes more inhibited, which results in a significant decrease in efficiency compared to solar panels exposed to cement dust.
