Dependence on fossil fuels drives the development of alternative energy sources such as piezoelectric technology. This study designs and tests a foot mat prototype made of PZT (Publum Zirconate Titanate) that converts mechanical pressure into electricity. The prototype consists of 35 piezoelectric elements arranged in a 5-series, 7-parallel configuration. Testing was conducted using varying body weights and two types of pressure: static and dynamic (jumps of 0.03 m and 0.05 m). Voltage and current were measured to calculate power output. Results show that higher weight and pressure generate greater power. The maximum power output of 0.00018753 Watts was recorded during a 0.05 m jump with a body weight of 62.15 kg, while the highest output under static pressure was 0.00006797 Watts at 66.15 kg. This prototype demonstrates potential as a small-scale energy source to support renewable energy implementation.
