PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK NPK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascalonicum L.) VARIETAS BAUJI PADA LAHAN RAWA SECARA TERAPUNG
The purpose of this study was to determine the best dose of compound NPK fertilizer on the growth and yield of shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) Bauji variety in floating farming. This research was conducted from May to August 2023 at Embung Sriwijaya University with coordinates 003°13'16" South Latitude and 104°39'03" East Longitude. While the analysis activities were carried out at the Plant Physiology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The research was conducted using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 4 treatments and 3 replications. Fertilizer doses used in this study were P0 = control or without NPK fertilizer, P1 = 300 kg ha-1 (1,2 g polybag-1), P2 = 600 kg ha-1 (2,4 g polybag-1), P3 = 900 kg ha-1 (3,6 g polybag-1). The parameters observed were leaf length, number of leaves, leaf area, leaf greenness, leaf chlorophyll content, fresh weight of stalks, dry weight of stalks, number of tillers, number of bulbs, bulbs length, bulbs diameter, bulbs volume, fresh weight of bulbs, bulbs wind dry weight, and root length. The results showed that the application of various doses of NPK fertilizers had no significant effect on the growth and yield of shallots of the Bauji variety grown floating on swamp land. The application of 900 kg ha-1 of compound NPK fertilizer can increase the growth and yield of shallots of the Bauji variety cultivated on floating swamp land. Relatively low growth and yield of shallots due to Fusarium oxysporum attack on plants.
