Shallots are one of vegetable commodity that is widely cultivated conventionally because it has a high economic value. high economic value. Shallot production has decreased with production production in 2021 of 2,004,590 tons dropped to 1,982,360 tons in 2022. This study aims to determine the Growth and Yield of Shallot Plants (Allium ascalonicum L.) Bauji Variety Against Various Doses of NPK Fertilizer Application. This research This research was conducted at the Experimental Field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra from June to August 2024. The research The research was conducted using a Randomized Group Design (RAK) with 4 levels of treatment levels and repeated 3 times so that 12 treatment units were obtained, each treatment unit contained 3 plants so there were 36 plants tested. P0 = Control/no fertilizer NPK fertilizer, P1 = 300 kg/ha (1.2 grams of NPK fertilizer/polybag), P2 = 600 kg/ha (2.4 grams NPK fertilizer/polybag), P3 = 900 kg/ha (3.6 grams NPK fertilizer/polybag). The results showed that the treatment P2 = 600 kg/ha (2.4 grams of NPK fertilizer/polybag) is the best treatment among all variables showing the best growth and yield. all variables showed more optimal growth and yield compared to other doses, with leaf length parameters. with other doses, with parameters of leaf length per plant 5 weeks after planting to 8 weeks after planting. after transplanting until 8 weeks after transplanting, number of leaves per plant 3 weeks after transplanting until 8 weeks after transplanting. after planting up to 8 weeks after planting, diameter of tubers, Volume of tubers, Fresh weight of fresh weight, dry weight of stalks.
