PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MENGGUNAKAN SCRIBUS PADA MATERI KARYA FIKSI KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 4 PALEMBANG
Learning media needs to be developed into various types. In learning, students and teachers need learning media that is easy to use, because of the limitations of teachers in using and choosing the right learning media. This research aims to produce a learning media product in the form of a digital magazine using Scribus on the material of works of fiction in class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Palembang. This research is a research and development using a modification of the ADDIE and Alessi & Trollip models. The research stages in this study are analysis, design, and development. The data taken are quantitative data obtained from the results of questionnaires given to grade VIII students and Indonesian language teachers, as well as qualitative data obtained from interviews with Indonesian language teachers and grade VIII students. The first stage carried out is analysis in the form of analyzing the needs of students and teachers. The second stage is design in the form of learning media design by making flowcharts and storyboards. The third stage in this research is the development of initial learning media products. The initial product was validated by validators on media, material, and language aspects. Furthermore, the learning media was improved. The results of the learner needs analysis were 80.51% (very much needed) and the teacher needs analysis was 69.64% (needed). Then, the results of media validation get a percentage of 96.92% (very feasible), the results of material validation get a percentage of 83.07% (very feasible), and the results of language validation get a percentage of 89.09% (very feasible). It can be concluded that learning media in the form of digital magazines are categorized as very feasible and can be used in the learning process on the material of works of fiction.
