SISTEM KONTROL SUHU DAN KELEMBABAN RUMAH TANAMAN PADA SISTEM HIDROPONIK NFT TANAMAN PAKCOY (Brassica rapa L. sub. Chinensis)
Modification and Testing of a More Efficient Environment Control System (Temperature and Humidity) in a Greenhouse for Pak choy cultivation using the Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) Hydroponic System. This research aims to address environment challenges within the greenhouse, particularly high temperatures and humidity levels, which can inhibit Pak choy plant growth. This research employs temperature and humidity sensors, fans, and micro sprayers to create an optimal environment for Pak choy cultivation. The system is designed to maintain temperatures between 20-28°C and humidity levels below 85%, which are ideal conditions for Pak choy growth. The micro sprayer system is utilized to maintain humidity and cool the plants through evaporation. The research was conducted in the greenhouse of the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sriwijaya, from September 17, 2024, to November 6, 2024. The research methodology employed is a design-build experimental method and a descriptive method, with a focus on the quantitative data collection of temperature and humidity. This research involves the preparation of the greenhouse, installation of micro sprayers, sensor design, and operation of the system. Keywords: Environment Control System, Greenhouse, Micro Sprayer, Pak Choy (Brassica rapa L. sub. chinensis), and Temperature and Humidity Sensor.
