KESERAGAMAN AIR IRIGASI PADA HIDROPONIK DFT(DEEP FLOW TECHNIQUE) INDOOR DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN LED GROW LIGHT PADA PERTUMBUHAN TANAMAN PAKCOY (Brassica Rapa L.)
This study aims to test the uniformity of irrigation water in DFT (Deep Flow Technique) Hydroponics using LED Grow Light on the growth of pak choy (Brassica rapa L.) plants, which was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture Sriwijaya University on October 24 - November 22, 2024. The method used is observation with data presentation in the form of graphs and tables, including the uniformity of irrigation water, electrical conductivity, pH of nutrient solution and thickness of water flow, as well as plant growth (height, number of leaves, leaf width, fresh weight, and productivity). The results showed that the DFT hydroponic system with a 300 watt LED Grow Light with a sensor gave the best results with irrigation water uniformity reaching 81.58%, higher than without a sensor 72.45% uniformity of electrical conductivity and pH above 99% indicating an even distribution of nutrients. In addition, the thickness of the water flow was better in hydroponics with a sensor 95.43% compared to without a sensor 83.91%. The highest productivity was obtained in the 300 watt LED Grow Light treatment with a sensor of 751.36 tons/ha, while the lowest productivity occurred in the 150 watt LED Grow Light treatment without a sensor, which was 213.69 tons/ha. The results of this study prove that the use of sensors in hydroponic systems can increase the uniformity of water distribution, nutrients, and the thickness of water flow which has an impact on more optimal plant growth and yield.
