APLIKASI PEMBERIAN PUPUK NPK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascalonicum L.) VARIETAS TAJUK MENGGUNAKAN POLYBAG
This research aims to determine the best dose of NPK fertilizer for the growth and yield of shallot plants (Allium ascalonicum L.) of the Tajuk variety. The research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, North Indralaya sub-district, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatra, with coordinates 3°13'29.74" South Latitude and 104°38'54" East Longitude. Meanwhile, analysis activities were carried out at the Plant Physiology Laboratory, Agricultural Cultivation Department, Sriwijaya University. The research was conducted from May to August 2023. This research was carried out using a Randomized Block Design with 4 treatment levels. Each treatment consisted of 3 replications where each unit consisted of three plants, resulting in a total of 36 plants. The treatments were as follows: P0 = control or without NPK fertilizer, P1 = 300 kg ha-1 (1.2 g polybag-1 ), P2 = 600 kg ha-1 (2.4 g polybag-1 ), and P3 = 900 kg ha-1 (3.6 g polybag-1 ). Several parameters were observed, including leaf length, number of leaves, number of tillers, leaf greenness level, chlorophyll content, root length, leaf area, bulbs diameter, bulbs length, bulbs volume, number of bulbs, fresh weight of bulbs, dry weight of bulbs, weight of stems and dry weight of stems. The results of the research showed that the application of 600 kg ha-1 NPK fertilizer (2.4 g polybag-1 ) had significant effect on the growth and yield of shallot plants of the Tajuk variety on the parameters of leaf greenness, chlorophyll content, bulbs fresh weight, and bulbs dry weight
