PENGARUH JAMUR ENTOMOPATOGEN TERHADAP MUMI Telenomus remus YANG BERUMUR TIGA HARI
Spodoptera frugiperda (J.E. Smith) is one of the important pests in maize, this pest damages the vegetative phase so that plant growth is interrupted or die. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of entomopathogenic fungi on the development and hatching time of Telenomus remus (Nixon). The method used in this study is to observe the effect of entomopathogenic fungi on S. frugiperda eggs parasitized by T. remus. The treatments in this study were 11 treatments with 1 control and 10 treatments of entomopathogenic fungal isolates. The fungal isolates used include Beauveria bassiana, Metarhizium anisopliae, Penicillium citrinum, Curvularia lunata, and Chaetomium sp. This research will be arranged in a Randomized Group Design (RGD) and analyzed from individual differences. The observed variables included changes in egg color, number of parasitized eggs, number of non-parasitized eggs, number of moldy eggs, number of non-moldy eggs, number of aborted eggs, number of emerging larva, number of emerging parasitoids, and egg morphology.
