TINGGI GENANGAN AIR PADA SISTEM IRIGASI EVAPOTRANSPIRASI PETAKAN (SIEVA PET) UNTUK BUDIDAYA TANAMAN SELADA KERITING (Lactuca sativa L.)
Curly Lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) is a vegetable that is widely cultivated commercially. The ever-increasing demand requires cultivating plants efficiently. Subsurface irrigation can optimize water use, especially in areas of limited land and water. Evapotranspiration irrigation systems continue to be developed to ensure efficient water supply for plants, as well as evapotranspiration irrigation systems with tarpaulin plots as an alternative for more even water distribution and lower costs. This research aims to determine the height of waterlogging for each level of plant growth in the root zone of lettuce on different planting media with SIEVA PET. This research was carried out from November 2024 to December 2024, at the Plant House, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This research uses a descriptive method in the form of data collection and direct observation in the field. The results obtained are presented in the form of graphs and tables. Parameters measured are water content around the roots, field capacity water content, number of leaves, plant height, plant weight, temperature, air humidity, sunlight intensity. The results obtained show that the height of the water pool varies at each phase of lettuce plant growth. The results obtained showed that the height of the water puddles varied at each growth phase of lettuce plants. In the early phase, the height of the puddles of treatment A1 was 4 cm, A2 and A3 were 4.5 cm, A4 was 5 cm. The middle phase of treatment A1 and A2 was 3 cm, A3 and A4 3.5 cm. The final phase of treatment A1 and A2 was 2 cm, while A3 and A4 were 2.5 cm.
