This study aims to determine the developmental biology of root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp) on celery plants in one life cycle and to determine the stages of development of root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne sp) on celery plants. The method used in the study used direct observation to determine the development of Meloidogyne sp. nematodes on celery plants. Observations were made by looking at the development of each nematode stadia on celery plants. In this study using 42 plants, checking was carried out every 2 days in 28 days by looking at 3 plants at each check. In the identification, the species of Meloidogyne incognita nematode was found. Meloidogyne incognita nematodes have a perennial pattern that can be seen in the dorsal striea forming a square (90 ͦ angle). In the observation, one life cycle was obtained in 28 days, namely eggs-juveniles 2- juveniles 3 and adults. The lowest mean number of nematodes was obtained in the 1st and 2nd observations, which was 0 nematodes, while the highest mean number of nematodes was obtained in the 14th observation, which was 66.7 nematodes. The lowest mean number of nematodes was found in the 1st and 2nd observations, which was 0 nematodes. The highest average number of nematodes was 37.3 in the 14th observation. Observations of celery plant roots on day 2 did not show symptoms of nematode attack because the nematode eggs had not hatched and on day 28 the symptoms of nematode attack were very clear attacking celery roots in the form of root galls.
