PENGARUH SALINITAS AIR MINUM TERHADAP KADAR NATRIUM DAN KLORIDA DALAM DARAH KAMBING LOKAL PADA KONDISI LINGKUNGAN PANAS DAN NORMAL
The salinity response can be determined by observing Na and Cl in local goats. This study aims to evaluate the provision of drinking water salinity to the blood sodium chloride levels of local goats under hot and normal environmental conditions. This research was carried out from November 2022 to January 2023, in the livestock pen on jalan bachelor, Ogan ilir regency. This research used 12 local goats, namely: 6 kacang goats and 6 etawa goats aged 9 months to 1 year. This research was carried out in a completely randomized factorial design with 2 treatments, 0 and 0.4% drinking water salinity and two levels of cage temperature (Normal and Hot). The feed given is dried bengal grass (Panicum maximum) and concentrate consisting of: corn (55%), copra (25%), fish meal (15%), molasses (3%), mineral premix (1%) and salt (1%). The research results showed that the salinity level of drinking water increased the Na content of goats' blood, while the temperature of the pen did not affect the levels of Na and Cl in goats' blood. Apart from that, the interaction between salinity level and cage temperature had no effect.
