Indonesia has the largest swamp area in the tropics with a total area of swamp land in Indonesia reaching ± 34.93 million hectares, or around 18.28% of the total land area of this country. The total area of tidal swamp land in Indonesia is estimated to reach around 8.92 million hectares. Although tidal land has great potential as a source of food and future agricultural land for Indonesia, its management and development still face various challenges. The main challenge in managing this land lies in the natural conditions of the soil which generally have low fertility levels, characterized by high drought, low availability of nutrients, and low exchangeable base saturation capacity. However, Analysis of nutrient content in fertilizers or soil in the Laboratory requires quite expensive costs, a long time and difficult access for farmers to the laboratory. In this study, a direct and fast Arduino UNO-based nutrient measuring tool was designed. This research was conducted from September to February 2024, at the Agricultural Energy Sub-Laboratory, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. Measurements were made by comparing the sensor results with standard laboratory methods, such as the Swamp Soil Testing Device (PUTR), data logger, soil moisture meter, and water tester. Data were obtained from five soil samples taken randomly and analyzed using statistical methods, to determine the level of accuracy of the tool. The results showed that the 7-in-1 Soil Sensor has a fairly good level of accuracy in detecting nutrient content, with a MAPE value below 10%, indicating that this tool can be used quite effectively in analyzing soil quickly.
