PENGGUNAAN ALAT PENGUKUR UNSUR HARA ”SOIL SENSOR 7-IN-1” PADA TANAH RAWA LEBAK BERBASIS ARDUINO UNO R3
Technological advancements encouraged the use of automated systems that were more practical than manual methods. In agriculture, information on soil nutrients such as nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), soil pH, temperature, electrical conductivity (EC), and soil moisture was essential for irrigation management and crop production. Indonesia had 13.28 million hectares of swamp land, but high acidity levels and low nutrient content limited its productivity. NPK analysis in laboratories required high costs and a long time, so a more efficient alternative was needed. This research developed a nutrient measurement device based on Arduino Uno R3, which was capable of directly detecting nutrient content. This research was conducted from September 2024 to February 2025 at the Agricultural Energy Sub-Laboratory and the Biosystem, Drafting, and Agricultural Energy Laboratory, Department of Agricultural Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. Measurements were carried out by comparing sensor results with standard laboratory methods such as the Swamp Soil Test Device (PUTR), data logger, soil moisture meter, and water tester. Data was obtained from five samples taken using a random method and analyzed. The measurement results were directly displayed on the LCD, and the analysis results were used to determine the accuracy level of the device. The research results showed that the 7-in-1 soil sensor had good accuracy, with MAPE ranging from 0.32% to 2.60%, making it a useful preliminary indicator in soil analysis, helping farmers determine fertilization more efficiently.
