This study aims to examine the determinants of unemployment rates in the Asia-Pacific and European regions using panel data from 2013 to 2022, obtained from the World Bank, Trading Economics, the Human Development Report, and the Global Innovation Index. The analysis employs a panel data regression model with Fixed Effects, covering eight countries from each region. The findings reveal that in the Asia-Pacific region, the Labor Force Participation Rate and the Global Innovation Index have a statistically significant impact on Unemployment Rates, whereas the Human Development Index, Wages, Economic Growth, Foreign Direct Investment, and the Business Confidence Index do not. In contrast, in the European region, the Human Development Index, Wages, and Foreign Direct Investment are found to be significant, while the Labor Force Participation Rate, Economic Growth, Global Innovation Index, and Business Confidence Index show no statistically significant effect
