MCDONALISASI PADA PENGGEMAR KONSER GRUP NCT DI INDONESIA
In recent years, K-pop concerts, especially those involving the group NCT, have rapidly developed in Jakarta, Indonesia, thanks to the support of metropolitan infrastructure. NCT, with the ability to add members and form subunits, often holds concerts that attract many fans, with tickets selling out in a short time. The high ticket sales reflect the influence of popular culture on the youth and make it a part of the social ideology. NCT concerts, such as SMTOWN at Gelora Bung Karno, highlight the application of the "McDonaldization" concept-efficient, calculable, predictable, and controllable in the music industry. This research aims to explore how K-pop culture, particularly NCT concerts, influences consumer behavior in Indonesia between 2022 and 2024, and the impact of McDonaldization in the cultural entertainment sector. By using a qualitative descriptive methodology and social media insights, this research reveals significant social and economic changes driven by increased consumption.
