PENGARUH PUPUK CAIR ASAL RHIZOSFER BAMBU DAN KOMPOS-BIOCHAR TERHADAP KETERSEDIAAN K SERTA PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI CAISIM (Brassica Juncea L.) PADA ULTISOL
Ultisol is a type of soil that is widely distributed and has the potential to be developed as agricultural land. However, this soil has major constraints in the form of low C-organic content and limited availability of potassium (K), which affect plant growth. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of liquid fertilizer from bamboo rhizosphere combined with compost-biochar in increasing K availability and growth and production responses of caisim (Brassica juncea L.) on Ultisol. This study used a factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors, namely the dose of liquid fertilizer from bamboo rhizosphere (0, 60, 120, and 180 ml plant⁻¹) and the dose of compost-biochar (0, 10, and 20 tons ha⁻¹). The results showed that the administration of liquid fertilizer from bamboo rhizosphere at a dose of 180 ml plant⁻¹ significantly increased C-organic, K-dd, plant height, and fresh weight of plants compared to the control. Meanwhile, the compost-biochar treatment at a dose of 20 tons ha⁻¹ had a significant effect on increasing soil pH, organic C, and K-dd. The interaction of the two treatments had a significant effect on soil pH. Based on the results of the study, a combination of liquid fertilizer from bamboo rhizosphere 180 ml plants⁻¹ and compost-biochar 20 tons ha⁻¹ was recommended as the best treatment to increase Ultisol fertility and caisim plant productivity.
