PENGARUH PEMBERIAN EKOENZIM DALAM AIR MINUM TERHADAP PERFORMA AYAM JANTAN LOHMANN
Lohmann rooster has the potential to be cultivated as a producer of meat like free-range chicken which has the same taste image. performance Lohmann roosters can be improved using an acidifier. Acidifier is an organic acid that is commonly added to livestock feed which can have an acidic atmosphere effect on the small intestine and have benefits in protecting feed from damage caused by microbes. Ecoenzyme is expected to be an acidifier to improve performance Lohmann rooster to meet the increasing needs of society increasing demand for chicken meat. This research aims to determine the performance of giving ecoenzymes in drinking water on the performance Lohmann's rooster. This research was conducted from March to May 2022 in the Animal Husbandry Study Program Experimental Cage Laboratory Animal Husbandry Technology and Industry, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The method used in this research is a randomized design method Complete (CRD) consists of 4 treatments and 6 replications. Based on the addition of ecoenzymes in each treatment where the first treatment was not using eco enzyme, the second treatment used eco enzyme as much as 0.25 ml, the third treatment used eco enzyme as much as 0.50 ml, and the treatment fourth used eco enzyme as much as 0.75 ml. The result of this research is the value of the average feed consumption obtained was 49.22-51.34 without treatment the use of ecoenzymes is greater than the use of ecoenzymes. The average value of the weight gain of the Lohmann rooster obtained is 18.66-20.92. The average conversion value of Lohmann rooster rations was obtained is 2.65-2.69.
