The aims of the research was: 1) Analyzing the comparison of farmers' income before being affected by the flood and after being affected by the flood in Tanjung Pasir Village. 2) Identifying differences in rice farming production inputs between planting season 1 and planting season 2 in Tanjung Pasir Village. 3) Knowing the cultivation techniques used by rice farmers to overcome flooding in lowland swamp rice fields in Tanjung Pasir Village. Data collection was carried out in October 2023. The sampling method used was the simple random sampling. Data collection methods are in the form of primary data and secondary data. Data processed method used descriptive analysis, statistical analysis, and T test. The results of this study were: 1) Obtained differences in income between rice farming before the flood and after the flood. The average rice farming income before the flood was IDR 21.721.708.-/lg/mt, while the average rice farming income after the flood was IDR 10.358.111.-/lg/mt. Therefore, rice farming income before the flood was greater than farming income after the flood. 2) Use of inputs for rice farming production in Tanjung Pasir Village in the form of seeds, fertilizer, pesticides and labor. The use of production inputs before the flood was greater than after the flood. 3) Floods in Tanjung Pasir Village occur after the flood and usually occur around October-November every year. The causes of flooding are due to high rainfall, overflowing river water and the absence of sluice gates in the rice fields. Efforts made by farmers to overcome flood events include using water pumps to suck up flood water that is stagnant in rice fields, carrying out replanting, and using superior varieties that are resistant to submersion.
