DAMPAK JAMUR ENTOMOPATOGENIK PADA MUMI Telenomus remus BERUMUR SATU HARI
Spodoptera frugiperda is a polyphagous pest that causes significant losses in agricultural crops and its symptoms can cause significant yield losses if not managed properly. Parasitoids are one of the biological agents that are widely used in controlling the new pest, S. frugiperda, which attacks corn plants in Indonesia. Especially Telenomus remus, which is effective to control S.frugiperda. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of entomopathogenic fungi on the development of Telenomus remus and the hatching time of Telenomus remus. This research was conducted in Entomology Laboratory, Department of Plant Pests and Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. This research used the Randomized Group Design (RAK) method with 11 treatments, namely control and 10 entomopathogenic fungal isolates with a concentration of 1x106, which were carried out 3 times. Observations were made directly by observing changes in egg color, the number of parasitized eggs, the number of non-parasitized eggs, the number of moldy eggs, the number of non-moldy eggs, the number of aborted eggs, the number of emerging larvae, the number of emerging parasitoids and egg morphology. Keywords: Spodoptera frugiperda, Telenomus remus, Biological control
