This study aims to determine the effect of adding Indigofera leaf legumes on dry matter digestibility, organic matter digestibility, and total VFA in vitro. The study was conducted in two stages: the first stage involved a 21 day fermentation, and the second stage was analysis of the digestibility of Hymenachne acutigulma silage using the in vitro method for dry matter digestibility analysis, organic matter digestibility, and total VFA. The research was carried out from August to October 2023 at the Nutrition and Animal Feed Laboratory, Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, University Sriwijaya. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) method with 4 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments consisted of A0 = 100% Hymenachne acutigulma, A1 = 90% Hymenachne acutigulma + 10% indigofera, A2 = 80% Hymenachne acutigulma + 20% indigofera , A3 = 70% Hymenachne acutigulma + 30% indigofera. The parameters observed were dry matter digestibility, organic matter digestibility and total VFA.
