NERACA AIR UNTUK BEBERAPA TANAMAN BUDIDAYA PERTANIAN DI TAMAN FIRDAUS
Water balance provides an overview of the condition of water deficit or surplus. Water balance is closely related to climatic conditions, so climate greatly affects the water balance. In knowing the water balance, it is necessary to know the evapotranspiration value, in this study the evapotranspiration value is obtained using the Penman-Monteith equation using the CROPWAT 8.0 Model application for windows created by the Department of Land and Water Resources FAO. Meanwhile, the calculation of water balance uses the Thornthwaite-Mather method. The results of the water balance calculation are used to determine whether irrigation or drainage is carried out and the value of irrigation or drainage used. This research was conducted from September to November 2023 at Firdaus Park Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The method used in this research is a survey method with a very detailed level using base maps with a scale of 1:10.000 and 1:6.000. The research area is 2,5 ha. From several existing cultivated crops, 3 crops will be taken to be observed. The crops observed are pineapple, orange and papaya. The results showed that the largest drainage was in pineapple crops with a total of 1282,59 mm or 12.825.900 l ha-1, while the largest irrigation was in papaya crops with a total of 868,18 mm or 8.681.650 l ha-1. Water balance in Firdaus Park Lake shows a total surplus for one year of 623,15 mm or 6.231.500 l ha-1, while the total deficit for one year amounted to 451,56 mm or 4.515.600 l ha-1.
