The cocoa processing industry plays an important role in economic growth by producing high value-added products. This study analyses the competitiveness of the cocoa processing industry in cocoa paste (HS 1803), cocoa butter (HS 1804), cocoa powder (HS 1805), and other processed cocoa products (HS 1806) in the 10 largest cocoa producing countries, namely Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Indonesia, Ecuador, Cameroon, Nigeria, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Peru, and Colombia. The data in this study uses secondary data from 2018-2022, sourced from Un Comtrade, Trading Economics, Trade Map, and World Bank. Competitiveness is measured by Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and panel data regression using E-Views 11. The results showed that Côte d'Ivoire has the highest RCA value of all products, and cocoa prices have a negative effect on competitiveness. Meanwhile, inflation has a positive and significant effect on using the Random Effect Model approach.
