A total of 31,746 ha of mangrove forest areas in the South Sumatra region are in critical condition. The efforts needed to restore these mangroves can be done by replanting. Replanting can be done naturally and by nursery first, mangroves that grow naturally are not able to survive well compared to mangroves that are nurseried, however having a mangrove nursery business can help accelerate mangrove planting. To see whether a mangrove nursery business is feasible or not, a financial feasibility analysis is needed. The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the nurseries carried out in community-based mangrove plant nursery businessed in Sungsang IV Village Banyuasin II District Banyuasin Regency (2) to analyze the feasibility level of community-based mangrove plant nursery businessed in Sungsang IV Village Banyuasin II District Banyuasin Regency and (3) to analyze the sensitivity of the feasibility of a community-based mangrove plant nursery businessed in Sungsang IV Village Banyuasin II District Banyuasin Regency. The method used was the case study method. The research was carried out in Sungsang IV Village Banyuasin II District Banyuasin Regency from August to October 2023. The sampling method uses a purposive sampling method based on certain objectives. The sample used in this study was the mangrove plant nursery business manager in Sungsang IV Village Banyuasin II District Banyuasin Regency. The data collected consists of primary and secondary data. The nursery technique is carried out by inserting propagules or mangrove seeds into polybags that have been filled with sandy mud. The research results show that mangrove plant nursery business is worth pursuing based on management, technical, legal, market, and environmental aspect as well as several feasibility criteria, Net Present Value of Rp189.407.033, Internal Rate of Return 83%, Net B/C 6,02, Gross B/C 1,05, Payback 1.27 year period, BEP worth Rp434,645,334 or 124,184 mangrove seed. The maximum change limit is 5% for decreasing selling prices, the maximum change limit is 13% for decreasing production, and the limit for increasing the purchase price of propagules is 16%.
