Poverty can be defined as a condition in which there is an absence of ownership and a low level of income so that individuals or communities in meeting the minimum basic needs for a decent life are not achieved. This study aims to (1) Compare the income of farmers, rubber agroindustry laborers and MSME actors in Gandus Village, Palembang City. (2) Analyze the poverty level of the population in Gandus Village in terms of the Statistics Indonesia poverty line indicator compared to the World Bank poverty line indicator. (3) Analyze the condition of the gini ratio index of the population of Gandus Village, Palembang City and formulate policy implications. Analyze the poverty level of the population in Gandus Village as seen from the poverty line indicators set by the World Bank and the Central Bureau of Statistics. (3) To analyze the condition of the gini ratio index of the population in Gandus Village, Palembang City. This research was conducted in Gandus Village, Gandus Subdistrict, Palembang City. Determination of the location of this research was done purposively. Data were collected from November 2023 to December 2023. The method used in this research is survey method. The sampling method used was disproportional stratified random sampling. The number of samples taken was 60 samples consisting of 20 rice farmers as layer 1, 20 MSME actors as layer 2 and 20 rubber agroindustry workers as layer 3. The data collected were primary and secondary data. The results showed that: (1) There is a significant difference between income levels with the average income of sample farmer households of Rp1,381,295, the average income of sample agroindustry laborer households of Rp4,771,700, while the average income of MSMEs in agriculture is Rp9,286,497. (2) The poverty level of the population in Gandus Village is seen from the poverty line indicators set by the World Bank and BPS, it is found that the poor population in the farmer category is more numerous, namely 19 people based on the world bank and 16 people based on the BPS category. (3) The distribution of income of household groups in Gandus Village is uneven and falls into the high inequality category with a gini ratio value of 0.503809715.
