ANALISIS PETROFISIKA MENGGUNAKAN DATA WELL LOGGING UNTUK MENENTUKAN ZONA PROSPEK RESERVOAR HIDROKARBON PADA FORMASI CEKUNGAN SUMATERA SELATAN
The utilization of Well Logging data in LAS format, which displays all types of logs to be used during interpretation, is a crucial step in the process. In this stage, referred to as logging, it is considered as a unified approach to obtain hydrocarbon reserves. The reservoir zone, which is a porous rock layer on the Earth's surface containing hydrocarbons and other types of hydrocarbons at various depths in a well, can be analyzed. Analysis of the reservoir zone can be observed through Gamma Ray log curves, Resistivity Log, and by separating components between RHOB and NPHI.The reservoir zone is defined as a permeable zone with a low Gamma Ray (GR) value that experiences a leftward curve deflection or reaches a minimum value. The presence of hydrocarbon sources is identified in the TAF or Talang Akar formation. Resistivity logs are used to determine the content types in the reservoir, which is the focus of the well. The Gamma Ray log (GR) can efficiently measure gamma ray emissions, distinguishing between permeable and non-permeable layers. Reservoirs containing gas are identified by the distribution of points on the RHOB/NPHI log that are above the sandstone (SS) line or beyond the boundary. Identifying the reservoir zone is accomplished through resistivity logs and cross-plotting between RHOB and NPHI log curves.
