SINTESIS DAN KARAKTERISASI KOMPOSIT Ni0,5Co0,5TiO3 DENGAN POLIVINIL ALKOHOL (PVA) SEBAGAI PENYERAP GELOMBANG MIKRO
Ni0,5Co0,5TiO3 composites with PVA have been synthesized using the solids reaction method by mechanical milling technique and characterized using XRD, SEM-EDS, FTIR, and VNA. The XRD results showed a trigonal structure (R-3) with the lattice parameter increasing from 5.0486 Å to 5.0561 Å as the PVA concentration increased. SEM-EDS confirmed the distribution of homogeneous particles at 10% PVA, while higher concentrations led to agglomeration. FTIR identified vibrations of metal-oxygen bonds at 649 cm⁻¹ and 535 cm⁻¹, indicating the presence of oxide perovskite structures. VNA measurements show that the Ni0,5Co0,5TiO3 composite with 10% PVA has the best reflection loss value of -20.1 dB at 4.79 GHz with an absorption of up to 99.99%. In comparison, pure PVA has only -8.98 dB absorption at 4.61 GHz, while composites with 20% and 30% Ni0,5Co0,5TiO3 reach -18.7 dB at 4.69 GHz and -13.0 dB at 4.70 GHz, respectively. The decrease in efficiency at higher concentrations is due to particle agglomerations that affect the balance of dielectric and magnetic properties. These results show that Ni0,5Co0,5TiO3 composite with PVA has the potential to be an optimal microwave absorbing material in the frequency range of 4–8 GHz, especially for electromagnetic interference damping applications. Keywords: Ni0,5Co0,5TiO3, Microwave Absorber, Polyvinyl Alcohol, Reflection Loss, Electromagnetic Interference
