PENGARUH PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR DARI LIMBAH PABRIK TAHU DENGAN MIKROORGANISME LOKAL (MOL) BONGGOL PISANG TERHADAP SIFAT FISIK TANAH DI ULTISOL
Ultisol is a type of marginal soil that is common in Indonesia, with high acidity and low nutrient content, so it has low agricultural productivity. To improve the physical properties of Ultisol soil, liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) from tofu waste and banana mole decomposer were chosen as an alternative to waste treatment as well as soil improvement. This study aims to analyze the effect of applying liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) derived from tofu factory waste with the addition of banana hump decomposer on the physical properties of ultisol soil. The experiment was carried out using a Complete Random Design (CRD) with 5 levels of treatment, namely, 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% LOF, each of which was repeated 5 times, so that there were 25 experimental units. The results showed that the administration of LOF from tofu mill waste and banana humps did not have a significant effect on all parameters of the physical properties of the soil tested. Although there is a tendency to increase the moisture content of field capacity and soil permeability as the LOF dose increases, the difference is not statistically significant. In addition, bulk density remains in the high category, which indicates that the soil still has a less than ideal density level. The total pore space analyzed also showed low yields, so it did not meet the criteria of good soil for plant growth.
