The Public Information Service Policy which is based on Law Number 14 of 2008 is a reference for fulfilling the public's right to obtain public information. The aim of this research is to determine the Implementation of Public Information Service Policy by the Main Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) in Bangka Belitung Province. Using descriptive qualitative methods, data collection was carried out through observation, documentation and interviews with relevant informants, namely the Main PPID, Assistant PPID, Provincial Information Commission and information applicants. Data was analyzed through several stages, namely data condensation, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of public information service policies by the Main Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) in Bangka Belitung Province has shown quite good results. However, there are still a number of obstacles faced by the Main PPID. These obstacles include budget limitations which result in no training for Assistant PPIDs. Apart from that, human resources are limited and there are still delays in providing information because the Assistant PPID needs time to answer requests for information so that the information provided is appropriate. This hampers PPID in carrying out its duties in conveying public information.
