APLIKASI ASAM HUMAT-BIOCHAR DAN PUPUK SP-36 TERHADAP SERAPAN P, PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN SAWI HIJAU PADA ULTISOL
Ultisol is a type of soil with low fertility, acidic pH, low exchangeable bases, and high aluminum (Al) content, making it less optimal for plant growth. One approach to improving the fertility of Ultisol is by adding organic materials such as humic acid-biochar and SP-36 fertilizer. This study aims to determine the effect of humic acid-biochar and SP-36 fertilizer application on phosphorus (P) uptake, growth, and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) grown on Ultisol. This research was conducted from September to December 2024 at the Plastic House, Soil Science Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University. The experiment was designed using a Factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two factors: humic acid-biochar doses (0 ton ha⁻¹, 5 ton ha⁻¹, 10 ton ha⁻¹, and 20 ton ha⁻¹) and SP-36 fertilizer doses (0 kg ha⁻¹, 50 kg ha⁻¹, and 100 kg ha⁻¹). Each treatment combination was repeated three times, resulting in a total of 36 experimental units in polybags. The results showed that the application of humic acid-biochar and SP-36 fertilizer significantly affected P uptake, growth, and yield of mustard greens. The best combination that enhanced P uptake, plant growth, and yield was humic acid-biochar at a dose of 20 ton ha⁻¹ and SP-36 fertilizer at 100 kg ha⁻¹.
