KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN MATEMATIS DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL MATEMATIKA TIPE PISA KONTEKS MASJID AN-NABAWI UNSRI SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 01 INDRALAYA
Mathematical reasoning ability is a basic ability in learning that is important for students to master in order to understand mathematical concepts well. The mathematical reasoning ability of students in Indonesia is low. This can happen because students are not used to working on problems that require reasoning in solving them. This study aims to describe the mathematical reasoning ability in solving PISA-type math problems in the context of the An-Nabawi UNSRI Mosque for eight-grade students of SMPN 01 Indralaya. This research is a descriptive research with quantitative-qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were students of class VIII A SMPN 01 Indralaya with 3 students as interview subjects. Data collection techniques are done through PISA test questions that contain indicators of mathematical reasoning ability and student interviews. Based on the results of the study, the mathematical reasoning ability in solving PISA-type math problems in the context of the An-Nabawi UNSRI Mosque for eight-grade students of SMPN 01 Indralaya is in the average category. The indicator that appears the most is the indicator of doing mathematical manipulation with a percentage of 72.22%, followed by the indicator of making conjectures reaching 37.7% and the indicator of drawing conclusions 14.4% being the least fulfilled indicator.
