PENGAPLIKASIAN ASAM HUMAT-BIOCHAR DAN PUPUK UREA UNTUK MENINGKATKAN SERAPAN HARA N SERTA PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN (BRASSICA JUNCEA L.) PADA ULTISOL
Ultisol soils are nutrient poor, especially nitrogen. Urea fertilization is often less efficient, so organic fertilizers such as humic acid and biochar are needed to improve soil fertility. This study aims to determine the effect of humic acid-biochar application and urea fertilizer on nitrogen nutrient uptake, growth, and yield of mustard plants on ultisol soil. This research was conducted in Plastic House, Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University from September to December 2024.The experiment was conducted using a Randomized Complete Factorial Design with two factors. The first factor is (H) humic acid-biochar with 4 levels and the second factor is (P) urea fertilizer with 3 levels. Each treatment was repeated 3 times, resulting in 36 experimental units. The results showed that the treatment of humic acid-biochar and urea fertilizer had a significant effect on N uptake, growth and yield of mustard plants. While there is a real interaction on N uptake and number of leaves. The application of humic acid-biochar at a dose of 20 tons ha-1 and urea fertilizer at a dose of 200 kg ha-1 had an effect in increasing the N uptake, the number of leaves, leaf width, and wet weight of the plant crown. While the treatment of humic acid-biochar at a dose of 20 tons ha-1 and urea fertilizer at a dose of 100 kg ha-1 had an effect in increasing the wet weight of the roots.
